Cause: One of the solenoid valves EV1/EV2 does not allow the gas to flow to the burner when trying to ignite.
Check the shut-off valve and make sure there is no air in the pipe after a bleed or recent intervention.

The flame is unstable, flickering or making irregular sounds.
Cause: The modulator (MD) does not correctly regulate the gas flow according to what the boiler needs.
Check the condition of the gas filter before replacing the gas valve: a dirty filter can also cause an irregular flame.

It is suspected that the gas pressure is not adequate at the inlet or outlet of the gas valve.
Cause: A misadjusted modulator or solenoid valve can alter the working pressure that reaches the burner.
Measure the pressure with a manometer at the inlet of the gas valve before considering it faulty.
