How to check if ref. S4560D is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference S4560D. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the S4560D PCB solves
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite and shows no signs of life: no display, no noise, and no attempt to start.
Cause: The control box is the brain that manages the ignition; if it fails, the boiler does not respond even if it receives power and gas.
Before changing it, check the fuse on the PCB and make sure that 220V is reaching the boiler.
- 02
The burner tries to ignite, you can hear the sparking, but it shuts off immediately and the boiler locks out.
Cause: The control unit interrupts the ignition sequence if it does not receive the correct flame signal or from any other safety element connected to it.
Check that the ignition/ionization electrode wires are properly connected before blaming the PCB.
- 03
The boiler responds erratically to the thermostat or the control: sometimes it obeys and sometimes it does not.
Cause: The relays or the control electronics start to fail intermittently before completely stopping functioning.
Try to force the demand directly on the boiler to rule out that the problem is with the thermostat or the external wiring.
- 04
An error code related to ignition or flame appears on the screen and does not disappear even after resetting.
Cause: These codes are usually generated in the control box when it detects that the safety sequence is not completed.
Note the exact code and consult it in the Cointra M15 20C manual before purchasing: it may indicate a problem in a component other than the PCB.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
