How to check if ref. 9158792 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 9158792. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 9158792 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not turn on and no indicator lights are visible on the panel, as if it had no power.
Cause: The PCB is the one that receives the mains power and distributes current to the rest of the components; if it fails, the entire system becomes unresponsive.
Check that 230V is reaching the input of the PCB and inspect the internal fuse before declaring it faulty.
- 02
The display or the indicator lights show a fault code that does not clear even when turning the boiler off and on.
Cause: The PCB microcontroller detects an anomaly in a sensor or actuator and locks the equipment for safety.
Note the exact code and check the manufacturer's fault table: it may indicate an external sensor, not the PCB.
- 03
The burner ignites but turns off after a few seconds, repeatedly.
Cause: A fault in the relay that manages the gas valve causes the PCB to cut off the supply immediately after starting.
Check that the ionization electrode is clean and properly connected before replacing the PCB, because the symptom is the same.
- 04
The room thermostat or the boiler control does not respond to any temperature changes.
Cause: The PCB has lost communication with the thermostat input and does not translate the command into activation.
Check the thermostat connector and its wiring before replacing the PCB.
- 05
The boiler operates intermittently; sometimes it starts up fine, and other times it doesn't respond at all.
Cause: A weld damaged by heat or vibration on the PCB causes contacts to fail depending on the temperature.
With the boiler running, gently tap the boiler casing: if the fault appears or disappears, it points to the PCB.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
