  Cause: An internal leak between the plates of the heat exchanger allows water to pass from one circuit to another without dripping outside.

  Discard the expansion vessel, the safety valve, and the automatic air vents, which are common causes of pressure loss.

  The domestic hot water comes out irregularly, sometimes hot and other times cold, without you having touched anything.

  Cause: A partial blockage due to scale causes an unstable water flow in the heat exchanger.

  Check the cold water inlet filter of the boiler before replacing the heat exchanger: if it is dirty, it can cause similar symptoms.
