CEME SpA pressure sensor, code 5240BB00, for Fagor boilers FE 24 NOX and FE20E/2. It measures the circuit pressure between 0 and 4 bar (type PE) and provides an output signal of 0.5 to 3.5 Vdc proportional to the pressure, with a power supply of 8 to 30 Vdc. Compare the pressure on the display with that of the analog manometer of the same unit before discarding the sensor.

The boiler does not start despite there seeming to be enough water pressure.
Cause: The control unit relies on the signal from the sensor and not on what the manometer shows, so a fault in the sensor prevents the start-up.
Check the cables and the connector of the sensor for any loose or oxidized contacts that may interrupt the signal before replacing it.

The pressure reading on the display fluctuates, drops to zero, or blinks without apparent reason.
Cause: An unstable output signal from the sensor arrives irregularly at the PCB.
With the boiler on, carefully move the wiring of the sensor to see if the reading changes when you touch it; this would indicate a loose wire or connector.
