It controls the differential pressure of the flue gas extraction circuit and allows ignition only if it detects correct draft. Factory set at 71/60 Pa (open/close), with a contact of 1(0.5) A at 250 V~. It is replaced when the boiler locks due to a pressure switch fault or does not detect extraction.

The display shows a flue or smoke evacuation fault warning and the boiler locks out.
Cause: It is the typical message when the pressure switch does not close the contact because there is not enough pressure in the duct.
Check the flue terminal outside: if it is blocked by a nest, ice, or dirt, the pressure switch will never give the ok even if it is functioning properly.

The extractor starts, stops, and restarts several times in a row without the boiler igniting.
Cause: It is the control board's attempt to achieve the switching pressure before permanently locking.
Check that the extractor spins freely and at a good speed, without any worn bearing noise, before confirming the fault of the pressure switch.

The boiler works well for a few seconds and then shuts off by itself, always at the same point in the ignition cycle.
Cause: The pressure switch loses contact because the pressure drops just when it should be maintained after startup.
With the boiler off, disconnect a small tube and gently blow into it to rule out that it is blocked by condensation or dust.
