  Water leaks from the valve when opening or closing the handle.

  Cause: The gasket between the control and the metal sleeve is worn and allows water to pass when the control is activated.

  Close the control fully, dry the area, and check if the dripping comes from the metal socket or the plastic body before replacing it.

  The boiler loses pressure and the circuit needs to be refilled frequently.

  Cause: This valve is only used for refilling, so a constant loss of pressure is usually due to a leak in the circuit, not from the valve at rest.

  Close it properly after refilling and check if the pressure drops again in the following days without touching anything.

  The blue knob or the metal sleeve is broken or difficult to turn.

  Cause: The metal sleeve protects the threading, but the control is made of plastic and can break if forced while being stuck.

  If it is difficult to turn, try gently in both directions; if it is already broken, check if the socket allows you to operate the mechanism with a tool before replacing the entire part.

  It doesn't close completely after refilling, and water keeps entering the circuit.

  Cause: The internal seat does not seal properly, either due to wear or due to the accumulation of scale between the control and the body.

  Turn the control to the fully closed position and check if the water flow stops completely before replacing the valve.
