  Water leaks from the valve when opening or closing the blue handle.

  Cause: The internal gasket of the plastic control has lost its sealing, which is common in these valves after several years of use.

  Close the control fully and dry the area; if the dripping only occurs when operating it, check that the control reaches the closing stop.

• 02

  The boiler loses pressure and the circuit needs to be refilled frequently.

  Cause: The filling valve only operates during the refilling process, so a continuous loss indicates a leak in the circuit or the expansion vessel.

  Close it properly after refilling and check if the pressure drops again in a few days without anyone touching the valve.

  The blue knob is broken or very difficult to turn.

  Cause: Being a plastic piece, the control is more fragile than a metal one and will break if forced when seized by limescale.

  If it turns with difficulty, try short movements without forcing it; if it's already broken, check if the inner shaft still turns before replacing the entire assembly.

• 04

  After refilling, the valve doesn't close completely and water keeps flowing.

  Cause: The internal closing seat does not fit well, due to plastic wear or lime trapped in the mechanism.

  Turn the knob to the fully closed position and check if the flow stops completely before considering the key as faulty.
