Ignition Transformer HEZ Hermann Micra Condens 26 Ref. H052005087
When you turn on the heating in your home, the ignition transformer HEZ Hermann Micra Condens 26 is responsible for generating the spark needed to activate the burner. If this part fails, you will notice that the boiler attempts to start unsuccessfully, which can lead to a lockout. This transformer is compatible with the Micra Condens 26 boiler, among others. It is advisable to replace it if you experience ignition problems or if the burner does not ignite normally.

How to check if ref. H052005087 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference H052005087. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the ignition transformer H052005087 resolves.
The ignition transformer generates the high voltage for the spark of the electrodes. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler ignites, makes an attempt, and shuts down after a few seconds, going into lockout.
Cause: Without the spark generated by the transformer, the gas does not ignite in time and the control unit cuts off the supply for safety reasons.
Check that the quick connector for the power supply to the transformer is properly fitted and free of rust; a poor connection can produce the same symptom as the faulty part.
- 02
To turn it on, you need to press the reset button two or three times in a row.
Cause: An irregular ignition fault is typical of a transformer whose secondary no longer provides sufficient voltage consistently.
Check that the electrode is clean of soot and has the correct gap before assuming that the transformer is faulty; soot requires more voltage than a sometimes weak transformer can provide.
- 03
The display shows a flame or ignition fault warning every time it starts.
Cause: That warning means that the control board does not detect ionization, and without high voltage at the electrode, that cannot occur.
Check the manual to see if that code is specific to ignition or if it is a generic flame code; some manufacturers use the same code for a dirty electrode, damaged cable, or transformer.
- 04
A buzzing sound is heard in the burner area when trying to ignite, but no spark is noticeable.
Cause: The transformer can receive current and make noise, but if the internal winding is damaged, it does not generate the arc.
With the boiler unplugged, check that the high voltage cable is not cracked or loose at either end.
Fault codes Hermann that this part solves
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Ignition fault: the burner does not ignite normally or the flame does not form/extinguishes unexpectedly (steady red LED, lockout after several attempts). | The ignition transformer generates the spark that ignites the burner; if it is faulty, no spark occurs and the boiler locks with Error 01. Check: with the boiler in demand, verify if there is a spark at the electrode and measure the high voltage output of the transformer; rule out the electrode, cable, connector, and gas supply first, as this same code can be caused by other components of the ignition group. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
