Honeywell Ignition Transformer AC1A114 - Hermann Micra 2 24 E
Honeywell ignition transformer model AC1A114, used in Hermann boilers from the Micra, Master Condensing, Spazio Zero, and Thesi series. It generates the high voltage that arcs at the electrode to ignite the burner. According to the label, it operates at 230 V, 50-60 Hz, with an ambient temperature range of -20 to 90°C. It is replaced when the boiler does not ignite or loses spark.

Can't see your model or have questions? The printed reference takes precedence. How to check it · Send us a photo via WhatsApp.
How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the ignition transformer resolves
The ignition transformer generates the high voltage for the spark of the electrodes. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler tries to ignite several times, but the burner does not light.
Cause: The transformer does not generate the high voltage necessary for the electrode to produce the spark.
Check that the high voltage cable is not cracked or disconnected from the electrode or the transformer.
- 02
There is no spark visible or audible at the ignition electrode.
Cause: If the transformer has no output voltage, the electrode cannot generate an arc, even if the gas reaches the burner.
With the boiler turned off, check that the electrode is not dirty with soot or broken before considering that the transformer is faulty.
- 03
The boiler locks out after attempting to start, displaying an ignition fault.
Cause: The control unit stops the cycle if it does not detect flame ionization, and without a spark from the transformer, the flame does not occur.
Reset the boiler and observe if the fault occurs at the same moment in the cycle; if so, it is more likely to be the transformer and not a one-time fault.
- 04
The spark jumps weakly or irregularly, not always on every attempt.
Cause: A transformer with damaged winding loses capacity and does not produce a stable discharge in each cycle.
Check that the mains voltage reaching the transformer is correct and stable before replacing it.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
