You don't have domestic hot water, or it comes and goes, while the heating works fine.
Cause: The valve does not switch to the DHW position when the tap is opened, so the water from the boiler is not sent to the domestic circuit.
First, check the flow rate and the inlet pressure: if the flow rate is low, the boiler will not activate the gas valve even if it is in good condition.

Water is leaking right where the body of the valve connects with the pipe.
Cause: The O-rings in the body have lost elasticity and do not seal properly under the normal pressure of the installation.
Before changing the gas valve, bleed the air from the circuit: a bubble in that area can sometimes be mistaken for a constant drip.

The hot water comes out in bursts, as if it cuts off and comes back every few seconds.
Cause: The valve oscillates between positions because the internal mechanism does not close properly in DHW mode.
Check that the tap or the thermostat are not causing the boiler to start and stop repeatedly: this can also give the impression of intermittent water without it being the valve.
