Biasi Garda / Riva Compact / Rinnova M90-M290 Smoke Extractor - Ref. BI1376105

Stock · 5 units

If your boiler does not ignite or gets blocked due to a fault in the flue gas evacuation, you may need the Biasi Garda / Riva Compact / Rinnova M90-M290 Flue Extractor - Ref. BI1376105. This flue fan is responsible for evacuating combustion gases and generating the necessary draft for the boiler to start. When it fails, fault code 05E may appear, indicating an anomaly in the fan control. It is compatible with models such as M90E.24S, M90E.28S, and M90E.32S, among others. It is recommended to replace it when noticing ignition problems or blockages in operation.

Guide

How to check if ref. BI1376105 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference BI1376105. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the extractor BI1376105 resolves.

The extractor evacuates the combustion gases with forced draft. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The extractor does not start or stops immediately without reaching speed.

Cause: The turbine motor has lost starting power or is stuck due to use.

Turn the turbine by hand with the boiler off: if it is difficult to move or gets stuck, the motor is jammed.

  • 02

Vibration or rattling in the extractor, more noticeable after running for a while.

Cause: The motor shaft has play due to bearing wear, or the turbine is unbalanced due to dirt on the blades.

With the boiler cold, gently move the turbine shaft with your fingers: if you notice lateral play, the bearing is worn out.

  • 03

The boiler tries to ignite and locks out, indicating a flue gas or fan fault.

Cause: The extractor does not reach the minimum level required by the control unit to validate the start, so it cuts off the gas supply.

Before replacing the part, check that the flue pipe is not blocked, crushed, or with the external terminal covered.

  • 04

The fan rotates but makes a constant scraping noise, like metal against metal.

Cause: It is a typical symptom of a dry or damaged bearing in this type of motor.

Listen for any changes in noise when varying the speed of the extractor: a constant rubbing sound throughout the range points to the bearing.

Fault codes Biasi that this part solves

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
05EFan control anomaly. The extractor fan (FIME GR02050) does not spin, spins slowly, or does not send a signal to the control, causing the PCB to detect a fan control fault; check by measuring the motor resistance and ensure the flue pressure switch closes upon start-up (according to service manual M90E: ≈47Ω 24S, 43Ω 28S, 25Ω 32S and correct depression/venturi).

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
