How to check if the part number R10020793 is the correct one for your boiler.
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference R10020793. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the extractor R10020793 resolves.
The extractor evacuates the combustion gases with forced draft. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The extractor does not start or takes a long time to start with a buzzing sound.
Cause: The FIME motor is jammed or does not have enough power to move the rotor.
Unplug the boiler and turn the turbine by hand: if you feel resistance, the motor is seized.
- 02
Metallic noise or vibration when touching the boiler casing.
Cause: The wear of the bearings or dirt in the turbine causes vibrations when spinning.
Check if the turbine blades have dust or grease buildup: a cleaning may solve it before replacing the part.
- 03
The boiler turns on, bleeds, and locks out with a pressure switch or flue fault.
Cause: The extractor does not generate enough depression for the pressure switch to close the contact, and the control board thinks there is no flue.
Check the silicone tubes from the fan to the pressure switch: if they are sagging, cracked, or have condensation, test that before replacing the fan.
- 04
There is a smell of combustion gases coming from the chimney or the terminal, even though the boiler does not lock out.
Cause: The extractor is running but does not reach the necessary airflow to completely evacuate the fumes.
Check that the flue duct is not leaking or obstructed before considering the turbine to be good.
Fault codes for Beretta that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| A03 | Air pressure switch alarm (C.S.I. models). | The flue gas extractor does not start or does not reach the expected rpm and does not generate the necessary depression; the air pressure switch does not switch, and the boiler locks in A03. Check voltage to the fan, rotation/tacho signal, and closure of the pressure switch by applying depression to the Venturi port. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
