How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB (control board) resolves
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not turn on: there are no lights or display, although there is power in the house.
Cause: The PCB distributes power to the other components; if its input fails, nothing works.
Measure with a multimeter if there is power at the input connector of the PCB before considering it faulty.
- 02
The remote control or the thermostat cannot get the boiler to work, even if you change the desired temperature.
Cause: The PCB receives the command from the control and converts it into the ignition of the burner and the pump; if communication fails, the boiler does not respond.
Try another thermostat or connect the demand directly to the terminals before replacing the PCB.
- 03
The fan or the pump does not start even though the boiler is requesting heat.
Cause: The output of the PCB that powers that component has not been activated.
With the boiler in demand, measure if there is power at the connector of the pump or the fan; if there is no power, suspect the output of the PCB.
- 04
The boiler turns on and off by itself after a few minutes, without displaying a fixed fault code.
Cause: An intermittent fault on the PCB, such as a cold solder joint, can cause it to lose a safety signal and interrupt the cycle.
Check if the cut coincides with the heating of the control board; if it always happens when cold and improves afterwards, it could be the PCB.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
