How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB (control board) resolves
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The display does not turn on or does not show any digits.
Cause: The display module is not receiving power or one of its internal components has failed, even though the main PCB is still functioning.
Check if the boiler starts and heats with the controls even if you don't see anything on the screen: if it heats, the problem is with the display module and not with the power PCB.
- 02
The controls (potentiometers) do not regulate or provide erratic readings.
Cause: The potentiometers of the module wear out or lose contact with use and stop transmitting the actual position to the control unit.
Turn each control from end to end and observe if the temperature change is gradual or if it jumps abruptly; if it jumps, the potentiometer is faulty.
- 03
The digits blink, turn off by themselves, or change value without touching the controls.
Cause: A poor connection in the connector that links the module to the main PCB, or a cold solder joint in the module itself, causes the signal to be intermittently lost.
Cut the power and reconnect the flat connector that connects the module to the main PCB properly before replacing it: a loose connection can cause the same symptoms.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
