Renova Micra 2 30 SE PCB Ref. SMCOH01

Renova Micra 2 30 SE PCB Ref. SMCOH01

Stock · 1 unit

The Hermann Micra 2 boilers, such as the Micra 2 30 SE, use the Renova Micra 2 30 SE PCB, which is responsible for controlling the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. When this part fails, the boiler may not start, may lock out, or may exhibit erratic behavior, potentially displaying fault codes 22 or 33. This PCB is compatible with other models of Hermann Micra 2 and also with the Habitat 2 range, among others. It is recommended to replace it if you experience these symptoms, to restore the proper functioning of your boiler.

Guide

How to check if ref. SM07407 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference SM07407. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the SM07407 PCB solves.

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The screen is flickering or blank and is not responding to the buttons.

Cause: A fault in the control circuit of the PCB prevents managing the display and user inputs.

Disconnect the boiler from the power supply for two minutes and reconnect it before discarding the PCB.

  • 02

The boiler locks out with a different fault code every time an attempt is made to reset it.

Cause: The electronics of the PCB can generate incorrect readings from various sensors if the control circuit is damaged.

Note each code that appears and the time: if they change without relation, it is more likely to be the PCB than a specific sensor.

  • 03

The boiler does not start the pump or the fan despite there being a demand for heating.

Cause: The PCB sends the electrical signal to these components; if the output relay fails, they do not receive power even if they are functioning properly.

Check if the pump or the fan starts when forced manually, with the boiler turned off and unplugged, to rule out that they are stuck.

  • 04

The boiler works for a few minutes and always locks out after the same amount of time.

Cause: A component of the PCB that heats up may fail intermittently and cause the same cutting pattern.

Time how long it takes to lock in several attempts: a very regular pattern indicates a thermal fault of the PCB.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
22Inconsistent stored data. The memory/parameterization of the modulation PCB (PCB SM07407) contains inconsistent or corrupt data; this is usually due to a fault in the electronics itself or power outages. Verify by reprogramming factory settings and, if it reappears, check/replace the PCB according to the service manual.
33Incorrect configuration/wiring.Incorrect configuration on the PCB (DIP/jumpers SW1–SW6) or improperly configured bridges/wiring on PCB connectors, preventing correct internal communication. Check the integrity of cavallotti/jumpers on the PCB and adjust the microswitches according to the electrical diagram and table of the Micra 2.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
