How to check if the reference 122030620 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 122030620. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the heat exchanger 122030620 resolves.
The plate heat exchanger transfers heat to the domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The domestic hot water comes out cold or changes temperature for no apparent reason.
Cause: The plates of the heat exchanger lose their exchange capacity due to the accumulation of scale.
Test the domestic hot water tap alone, without the heating running, and note if the temperature fluctuates; this way you can rule out that it is an issue with the three-way valve.
- 02
You notice humidity or dripping in the area where the heat exchanger is installed.
Cause: A gasket or one of the plates has lost tightness and allows water to escape from the circuit.
With the boiler off, dry the area and check after a heating cycle if humidity reappears right there.
- 03
The boiler repeatedly loses pressure even though no water is visible anywhere.
Cause: An internal leak between plates mixes the circuits and the water escapes to the domestic hot water drain without leaving any visible trace.
Fill the boiler, close the filling valve, and check if the pressure drops again in the following days without having used hot water.
- 04
The performance of the domestic hot water has been gradually decreasing over the months.
Cause: The accumulation of limescale reduces the water flow between plates, and the boiler heats less with the same flow rate.
Check if the area has hard water and if a descaling of the DHW circuit has never been performed.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
