  Cause: The sensor sends an electrical signal that does not correspond to the actual pressure, and the control unit interprets it as a pressure fault.

  Compare the digital reading with the mechanical manometer of the boiler before declaring the sensor faulty.

  The boiler locks out as soon as it starts, as if it doesn't have enough pressure, even though the circuit is full.

  Cause: Without a reliable signal from the sensor, the control board does not confirm the minimum pressure and cuts off the ignition for safety.

  Bleed the air from the circuit and check for any visible leaks before replacing the sensor.

  The pressure reading on the display remains fixed, neither increasing nor decreasing, even when water is added or removed from the circuit.

  Cause: The internal element of the sensor stops translating hydraulic pressure into an electrical signal and gets "frozen" at a value.

  Tighten the connector of the sensor and check the wiring to the PCB; a loose connection produces the same effect.

  There is moisture, limescale buildup, or dripping in the area where the sensor is screwed in.

  Cause: The gasket or body of the sensor loses tightness with use and allows water from the primary circuit to pass through.

  Dry the area, turn on the boiler, and monitor for a few minutes to confirm that the leak is coming from there and not from a nearby fitting.
