  Cause: The internal contact of the pressure switch may get stuck or not function properly, preventing the closure even if the pressure is adequate.

  Bleed the air from the circuit before ruling out the pressure switch: a circuit with air can also prevent the reset.

  The display shows a water pressure fault warning even though the pressure gauge indicates normal pressure.

  Cause: The pressure switch is not reading the actual pressure of the circuit correctly and is sending an incorrect cut-off signal.

  Compare the reading of the boiler's pressure gauge with an external pressure gauge at the same point before replacing the part.

  The boiler repeatedly locks out due to pressure even though the circuit has been refilled several times.

  Cause: If after filling the circuit it continues to block, it is likely that the pressure switch is not switching the contact correctly.

  First, rule out a slow leak in the circuit by checking air vents, valves, and radiators for any gradual pressure loss.
