Honeywell Pressure Switch C6065F1100 For Cointra Edyco ED 21 EI Ref. 9158230
If your boiler does not start or gets blocked, the Honeywell C6065F1100 pressure switch may be the solution you need. This component checks the air or water pressure and allows the boiler to operate. When it fails, you may notice that the boiler does not start or shows symptoms such as the lack of water signal or blocked pump (fault codes 5 and LED 2 Off + LED 3 Slow Flashing). It is compatible with Cointra Edyco ED 21 EI boilers, among others. It is recommended to replace it when it shows pressure faults or the mentioned symptoms.

How to check if ref. 9158230 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 9158230. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch 9158230 resolves.
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler ignites the burner for a moment and then shuts off by itself, with no further explanation on the display.
Cause: The pressure switch does not keep the contact closed long enough, and the control board interprets that the pressure is not correct, so it cuts off the gas for safety.
Check that the tube or circuit connected to the pressure switch is not leaking or obstructed before declaring it faulty.
- 02
The boiler locks out as soon as ignition is requested, without even attempting to spark.
Cause: The pressure switch does not close the contact at rest, and the control board does not give the ignition command due to the lack of the correct pressure signal.
Check with a multimeter if the pressure switch toggles when manually varying the pressure it receives.
- 03
The display shows a pressure fault even though the circuit seems to be fine.
Cause: It is the pressure switch itself that informs the control board of the pressure status, so an internal fault generates that fault code even if the rest is correct.
Check that the electrical terminals of the pressure switch are not loose, corroded, or poorly connected before replacing it.
- 04
The pressure switch does not 'click' when manually varying the pressure.
Cause: The internal diaphragm has hardened or the contacts have stuck due to use, and it stops responding mechanically to the change in pressure.
Remove the pressure switch and manually force the pressure change to confirm if it switches or has become stuck.
Fault codes for Cointra that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | Indicates lack of water or blocked pump. | The minimum hydraulic differential pressure switch does not give consensus due to insufficient pressure/flow or a fault in the pressure switch itself; check pressure (≈0.5–1 bar), bleed the circuit, and check continuity/micro of the pressure switch. |
| LED 2 Off + LED 3 Slow Flashing | Lack of water in the heating circuit or blocked pump. | The hydraulic differential pressure switch (lack of water) prevents consensus; check pressure and bleed the circuit, and test the micro/continuity of the pressure switch. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
