- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the circulation pump 996615 resolves.
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The pump does not start: a faint buzzing is heard but the shaft does not rotate.
Cause: The rotor is stuck or the start capacitor is not providing the necessary boost.
Unlock the shaft with a flat screwdriver in the front slot of the motor, with the boiler disconnected, before replacing it.
- 02
Noise or vibration in the motor-pump assembly
Cause: Trapped air in the circuit or a worn impeller cause an imbalance in the rotation.
Bleed the air from the heating system and check the pressure of the expansion vessel before considering the pump as faulty.
- 03
Heating or domestic hot water with low flow, cold radiators
Cause: A worn or cavitating impeller does not push enough water for the circuit.
Check the filter or separator of the installation and the pressure of the boiler before replacing the pump.
- 04
Water leak from the motor shaft
Cause: The internal mechanical seal loses tightness with use and allows water to pass through the shaft.
Dry the area well and check if the leak reappears after a while in operation, to rule out a nearby pipe joint.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
