  Water is coming out of the drain even though the boiler hasn't been very hot and the pressure hasn't increased on the gauge.

  Cause: It is usually the expansion vessel lacking sufficient air, which transfers the pressure surge to the valve that it should absorb itself.

  With the boiler cold and no water pressure in the circuit, check the air pressure in the expansion vessel before replacing the valve.

  The boiler gradually loses pressure and needs to be refilled every few days.

  Cause: A small and constant leak from the valve seat empties the circuit without any noticeable dripping.

  Dry the drain area thoroughly and check after a few hours to see if it has become damp again, even if you don't see any dripping at first glance.

  The circuit is overpressurized and the valve does not open or release water.

  Cause: The stem gets stuck due to accumulated lime or rust and does not move to release the pressure.

  Before replacing, manually operate the bleed lever to see if it releases any water; if nothing moves, confirm the blockage.
