Check the ignition electrode: if it is dirty or misaligned, it may appear to be a fault with the transformer.

There is no spark at the electrode even though the boiler is trying to ignite.
Cause: The transformer may be damaged and is not sending high voltage to the electrode.
Check the wiring between the PCB and the electrode, and make sure there is no moisture in the area of the transformer.
