Fagor FE 25 NOx/1 N Fime Extractor Fan
When the heating system starts, the Fagor FE 25 NOX/1 N Fime extractor fan is responsible for expelling combustion gases and generating the necessary draft for the boiler to operate correctly. If this part fails, you will notice that the boiler does not ignite or gets locked, and the fault code F2 may appear, indicating that the air pressure switch does not detect air circulation. This fan is compatible with several models from the Fagor FE NOX range, such as the FE 25 NOX N and the FE 25 NOX B, among others. It is recommended to replace it when experiencing ignition or smoke evacuation issues.

How to check if the part MUR000023 is the one for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference MUR000023. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the extractor MUR000023 resolves.
The extractor evacuates the combustion gases with forced draft. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The extractor does not spin and the boiler does not ignite.
Cause: The motor or the bearing is seized and cannot start.
With the boiler unplugged, check if the impeller turns freely by hand.
- 02
An unusual noise or vibration is heard in the extractor during operation.
Cause: The impeller is dirty with soot and unbalanced, or the bearing is worn out.
Clean the impeller of soot and dust, and check if the noise decreases before replacing the part.
- 03
The boiler displays a fault code related to the fan or the extractor.
Cause: The PCB does not receive the correct rotation signal from the fan, due to insufficient revolutions or a control signal failure.
Note the exact code displayed and check in the manual that it corresponds to the extractor before purchasing the spare part.
- 04
The boiler locks out just after the fan starts.
Cause: The air pressure switch does not close the contact because the fan does not reach the necessary flow rate.
Check the silicone tubes of the pressure switch and the flue for any blockages before replacing the fan.
Fault codes for Fagor that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| F2 | The air pressure switch does not detect air circulation. | If the extractor fan (Fime GR03710) does not start or does not generate sufficient depression, the pressure switch does not close and the boiler locks in F2; check 230 V to the motor, free rotation, and that upon starting it creates depression/closes the pressure switch (measure with a manometer at the pressure switch ports or check its contact). |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
