Bertelli & Partners Cointra Essential 24 E PCB Ref. DBM10

Stock · 1 unit

If your boiler does not start, locks out, or exhibits erratic behavior, you may need to replace the Bertelli & Partners Cointra Essential 24 E PCB, reference DBM10. This control board regulates the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. When it fails, you may experience faults such as A02, F04, F05, F07, or A23. It is compatible with models from the Cointra Essential range, such as the Essential 24 E and the Essential 32 E, among others. It is recommended to replace it when these symptoms or faults are detected.

Guide

How to check if ref. 39823030 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 39823030. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the PCB 39823030 resolves.

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler does not ignite or start on any attempt.

Cause: The PCB controls the entire ignition process: if it doesn't work, the other components do not receive the command to start.

Before replacing the PCB, check that power is reaching the boiler and that the internal fuse (if visible) is not blown.

  • 02

There is no response from the thermostat or the boiler's own controls.

Cause: The PCB processes both the outdoor thermostat and the panel controls; if it fails, both stop working.

Try bridging the thermostat terminals directly on the PCB: if it still doesn't start this way, the fault is more likely in the PCB than in the thermostat.

  • 03

The boiler ignites but turns off after a few seconds, repeatedly.

Cause: If the transformer supplying the PCB provides an irregular current, the electronics may start the cycle and cut it off immediately for safety.

Before replacing the PCB, measure if the transformer output is stable; an unstable current there explains the cut without the rest of the circuit being damaged.

  • 04

The display flickers or shows a PCB fault without a fixed pattern.

Cause: A fault in the PCB without a fixed pattern usually indicates a cold solder joint or a component that only fails when hot.

Before replacing it, check that the fault does not coincide with a spike in electrical consumption in the home (other appliances turning on at the same time), which would rule out the PCB.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
A02Flame signal present with burner off.The PCB (control board) may interpret a false ionisation signal or mismanage the electrode input; verify by measuring the ionisation current and ruling out the electrode/wiring; if it persists, review/reprogram or replace the PCB.
F04Anomaly in the parameters of the control board.PCB parameters misconfigured or corrupted (memory/EEPROM); check by entering programming mode and restoring/adjusting values; if it doesn't save or reappears, the board is defective.
F05Anomaly in the parameters of the control board.Configuration error or fault in the PCB itself (in sealed models E it may also indicate a fan fault, but the brand documents the cause on the board); verify and reprogram parameters; if not corrected or not recorded, replace the PCB.
F07Anomaly in the parameters of the control board.Internal parameters of the PCB improperly adjusted/damaged; check the service menu and restore factory or prescribed parameters; if it reappears or does not allow saving, PCB is faulty.
A23Anomaly in the parameters of the control board.PCB configuration/firmware with inconsistent parameters; verify and reprogram parameters according to the manual; if not restored or reappears, PCB memory damaged → replace.
A24Anomaly in the parameters of the control board.Control parameters on the PCB out of range or corrupted; enter programming, correct/restore values and check that the PCB saves them; if not, replace the PCB.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
