How to check if ref. S4561A1007B is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference S4561A1007B. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB S4561A1007B resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not respond to any commands, neither from the thermostat nor from the front panel.
Cause: If the main relay on the PCB is stuck or burned out, it does not transmit the ignition command to the rest of the system.
Measure the mains voltage and check the thermostat wiring before replacing the PCB.
- 02
The display turns off and on intermittently without any apparent reason.
Cause: A cold solder joint or a component affected by heat on the PCB can cause intermittent power cuts.
With the boiler turned on, gently touch the control panel to check if the fault is mechanical before replacing the PCB.
- 03
The boiler starts but stops after a few seconds without igniting.
Cause: The PCB interrupts the ignition sequence if it does not receive the signal from the pressure switch or the flame sensor correctly.
Check the pressure switch and the detection electrode before assuming that the fault is in the PCB.
- 04
A burnt smell or a dark spot on the PCB is noticeable when opening the boiler.
Cause: An overloaded component, such as a relay or the integrated transformer, may have been damaged by a voltage spike.
Visually inspect the PCB with the boiler disconnected before handling anything else.
Fault codes for Wiesberg that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| E01 | Ionisation fault | The Honeywell/Resideo S4561 ignition PCB (ref. Wiesberg 95000220) generates the spark and amplifies the ionisation signal; if it develops a fault, there is no spark or the ionisation is not read, and the boiler locks out with E01. Check the spark at the burner, power supply to the PCB, and ionisation current; if there is no spark/reading, replace the PCB. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
