Before replacing the PCB, check that gas is reaching the unit and that the electrode or nearby pressure switch is not dirty, because sometimes the fault disappears after ruling this out.

The display or the boiler's indicator lights are completely off, not a single LED is on.
Cause: A fault in the power supply stage of the PCB leaves the rest of the system without power.
Check that mains voltage is reaching the boiler and that the visible fuse on the PCB is not blown before replacing it.

The control or thermostat is not responding: it changes the temperature but the boiler does not comply.
Cause: The PCB has lost communication with the thermostat due to a fault in its control circuit.
Try resetting the thermostat and check the connection wiring before assuming the PCB is the cause.
