  The heating or domestic hot water temperature cannot be adjusted properly, or it fluctuates on its own.

  Cause: The potentiometers on the PCB regulate those parameters; if the contact is dirty or damaged, the adjustment fails.

  Turn the temperature knob from one end to the other several times before changing the PCB; sometimes it releases the dirty contact.

  The boiler is functioning strangely, as if the settings have changed by themselves.

  Cause: The DIP micro switches on the PCB set the operating mode; a faulty contact alters the behavior.

  Check that the micro switches are still in their original position before replacing the PCB, in case they have been accidentally moved.

  It turns on but always operates at the same level, as if it doesn't modulate.

  Cause: The PCB is not varying the signal that controls the gas valve or the fan.

  Check if the fault occurs the same in heating and in domestic hot water; if it only happens in one of the two, it is probably not the PCB.

  There are no signs of life: the display is off, it does not respond to anything.

  Cause: General fault of the PCB that cuts off the supply to all control electronics.

  Check the fuse and the 230V power supply before declaring the PCB as faulty.
