• 01

  The boiler does not ignite, you can't even hear the spark attempt.

  Cause: The PCB sends the ignition command to the gas valve and the electrode; without that command, there is no ignition attempt.

  Check that the ignition electrode and its cable are in good condition before assuming that the PCB is to blame.

• 02

  The flame rises and falls on its own, without requesting more or less heat.

  Cause: Erratic modulation is often caused by the part of the PCB that controls the gas valve.

  Check the gas inlet pressure and the condition of the filter before considering that the PCB is responsible.

  The boiler runs for a few minutes and then locks out on its own.

  Cause: The PCB continuously monitors safety parameters and shuts down the equipment if it detects anything out of range.

  Note how long it takes to block; if it is always the same time, it will help you identify in which phase it fails.

• 04

  The boiler indicator is flashing but it doesn't match any code in the manual.

  Cause: An irregular blinking may be caused by a fault in the electronics that manage that signaling.

  Count the number of blinks and the pauses between them carefully; sometimes the code does exist but can be misread.
