Cause: The flow sensor does not detect that water is passing through and does not give the command to start the burner for domestic hot water.
Check the cold water inlet filter: if it is blocked by limescale, the flow rate decreases so much that the sensor does not detect it even if it is working properly.

The hot water cuts off and comes out in bursts, with the temperature rising and falling while in use.
Cause: The internal moving part of the sensor gets stuck or loses consistency and sends an unstable flow signal to the PCB.
Check the incoming water supply pressure; if it fluctuates, it can cause the same symptom even if the sensor is not faulty.

The water comes out lukewarm instead of hot when the tap is slightly open.
Cause: The sensor does not accurately indicate the minimum flow required for the boiler to modulate the flame at the appropriate level.
Open the tap to maximum flow and observe if the flame rises; if nothing changes, it is advisable to check the gas valve first.

There is a water leak visible on the body of the sensor or around its connector.
Cause: The internal gasket of the sensor degrades over time and loses tightness in the water passage.
Dry the area well and turn on the boiler to locate the exact point of the leak before requesting the spare part.
