Cause: The shaft has seized due to deposits accumulated during inactivity.
Try turning the shaft by hand with a screwdriver in the front slot before replacing it.

Cause: The mechanical seal has lost its tightness.
Dry the area and check in cold if the humidity reappears right there and not in a nearby joint.

Cause: The start capacitor has lost capacity and the motor is not gaining momentum.
Check if the pump makes a prolonged buzzing sound before starting, indicating forced start.
