• 01

  The radiators remain cold or lukewarm even though the burner ignites and the boiler seems to be working.

  Cause: The pump is not circulating water through the heating circuit, so the heat is not circulating.

  Touch the supply and return pipes: if the supply is hot and the return is cold, the circulation is not working.

• 02

  A buzzing or vibrating sound is heard in the pump area when starting the heating.

  Cause: There may be air in the rotor chamber or the shaft forcing without fully rotating.

  Change the speed with the selector: if the buzzing changes tone, the motor responds and it may just have air.

• 03

  The pump does not start in any of the three speeds of the selector.

  Cause: The rotor is locked or the winding does not respond at any speed.

  Test the three positions one by one before discarding it: if none produce vibration, the fault is with the motor.

• 04

  Water is leaking from the shaft or from the body of the pump.

  Cause: The mechanical seal is worn out and allows water to pass through with use.

  Dry the area and check after a while of operation if the drop reappears right at the axis and not at a nearby fitting.
