How to check if ref. 05728600 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 05728600. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 05728600 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler is completely dead, no indicators or display, even though there is power at the outlet.
Cause: A burned component on the PCB can cut off all power even if mains voltage is present.
Measure the fuse on the PCB with a multimeter before declaring the board as faulty.
- 02
The fault indicator light remains on and does not turn off even if the boiler is reset.
Cause: The PCB detects a fault condition and keeps it locked until it is resolved or replaced.
Note the fault code if there is one and check the sensors, pressure switch, and gas valve, as these are the most common causes of blockage.
- 03
The boiler occasionally restarts on its own, as if it turns off and then back on.
Cause: An intermittent fault in the PCB causes micro-outages that the user perceives as resets.
Check that the SW1 switch and the PCB terminals are properly seated; a loose connection has the same effect.
- 04
The room thermostat is not able to start the boiler, even though it is requesting heat.
Cause: If the input stage of the PCB fails, it does not translate the thermostat demand into a power-on command.
Measure with a direct bridge at the terminals of the thermostat if the boiler starts; if it doesn't start, it is more likely that the PCB is failing.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
