  The boiler ignites the burner, but the pump or the fan does not start, although the rest of the indicators are fine.

  Cause: The PCB controls those outputs through relays; if one fails, the component that depends on it does not receive the start command.

  Before changing the PCB, listen for the click of the relay when the start command is given; if it doesn't click, the PCB may be the problem.

  Different fault codes appear every few days, without any changes in the installation.

  Cause: The microprocessor on the PCB processes the signals from sensors; if an internal component fails intermittently, the codes change without there being a real problem in the boiler.

  Note the exact sequence of fault codes and the time they appear; if they do not follow a pattern related to an external component (sensor, pressure switch), the PCB is suspect.

  The remote control or thermostat is not communicating with the boiler: it does not send temperature or receive status.

  Cause: The communication between the control and the boiler goes through the driver of the PCB; if that circuit fails, the control will not work even if it has new batteries.

  Test the remote control on another compatible boiler if possible, or check that the cable or communication bus is properly connected to the terminal block of the PCB before ruling it out.

  The boiler stops by itself during combustion and needs to be reset to start again, and this happens again in a few days.

  Cause: A microcut or a cold solder joint within the PCB causes the system to recover with the reset but then fail again.

  Keep track of how many times it resets per day; if the frequency increases over time, it is more likely to be the PCB and not a one-time sensor fault.
