  Cause: The SYMSI7.0 PCB manages the ignition and safety of the unit; if the sequence does not start, the boiler will not operate.

  Check that power is reaching the PCB and that the internal fuse is not blown before considering it faulty.

  The boiler occasionally locks out, without a consistent repeating fault code.

  Cause: The relays on the PCB can fail intermittently and cause lockouts that do not always display the same fault code.

  Note if the lockout occurs at the same moment in the cycle (ignition, modulation, shutdown) before changing the PCB.

  They have already said that 'it's electronics' but there is no clear fault or localized issue in another part.

  Cause: If sensors, pressure switch, and gas valve have been ruled out separately and the behavior remains erratic, the control board is the component that manages everything else.

  Before replacing it, check that the pressure switch, the NTC sensor, and the gas valve have been tested separately, each with its own test.
