Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch resolves

The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler does not ignite and shows a warning of low water pressure, even though the circuit is full.

Cause: The water pressure switch does not detect the minimum required pressure and blocks the ignition for safety, even though the manometer is correct.

Check the pressure on the boiler's manometer before replacing the pressure switch: if it is really low, the problem is with the water, not the part.

  • 02

The low pressure warning disappears after bleeding the circuit or refilling with the filling key.

Cause: Air trapped in the circuit can simulate a lack of pressure that the pressure switch interprets as real.

Bleed the radiators and the boiler properly before considering that the pressure switch is faulty.

  • 03

The boiler intermittently locks out due to water pressure, especially when cold.

Cause: Small pressure variations with the cold installation can cause a worn pressure switch to malfunction.

Record the cold and hot pressure over several days to check for a real pressure loss in the system.

  • 04

The expansion vessel has been checked and the installation is not leaking water, but the warning still appears.

Cause: If a leak or a depleted expansion vessel has been ruled out, the erroneous signal usually comes from the pressure switch itself.

With the installation checked and without leaks, measure the continuity of the pressure switch before replacing it.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about the pressure switch

Is this Honeywell C6065AH1103:2 pressure switch suitable for the Biasi Mura 24E?
Yes, it is the factory-mounted water pressure switch in the Biasi Mura 24E, as well as other Biasi models from the compatibility list.
Who manufactures the pressure switch for the Biasi Mura 24E, Honeywell or Yamatake?
Both names appear on the body of the piece: Honeywell as the brand and Yamatake Corporation printed next to it.
At what pressure does the pressure switch C6065AH1103:2 cut off?
It is set to 0.49 mbar, with a maximum allowable of 6 mbar.
When should this pressure switch be replaced in a Biasi Activ A 25C?
When the boiler locks out due to a lack of minimum water pressure in the circuit, as it is that signal that cuts off the ignition.
Is the same pressure switch used for the Biasi Myto Condens Plus 24 and 35?
Yes, both models are on the list of boilers compatible with this reference.
