SIT 845 Sigma Gas Valve Biasi Minox Ref. BI1093104
SIT gas valve model 845 Sigma, with two solenoids (EV1 and EV2), integrated modulator and outlet pressure regulator. The SIT logo and model are printed on the piece itself. How to check if ref. BI1093104 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference BI1093104. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the gas valve BI1093104 resolves.
The gas valve regulates and modulates the gas flow to the burner. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite, and there is not even an attempt at a flame.
Cause: The EV1 and EV2 solenoid valves of the SIT gas valve do not open the gas flow to the burner.
Check that power is reaching the gas valve at the moment of ignition before replacing it.
- 02
The equipment locks up right when trying to ignite, as if gas isn't reaching it.
Cause: If the solenoid valves do not respond in time, the control unit does not detect a flame and locks the equipment for safety.
Record the fault code from the display before disassembling the valve to confirm it indicates a flame failure.
- 03
The flame rises and falls irregularly without the user touching the thermostat.
Cause: The modulator integrated into the gas valve is not properly regulating the gas flow to the burner.
Check that the sensor or thermostat are not requesting constant power changes before blaming the gas valve.
- 04
There is a smell of gas in the area of the gas valve, even with the boiler turned off.
Cause: The pressure regulator and the internal seals of the valve have lost their tightness.
Apply soapy water to the connections before confirming that the leak is from the valve and not from a nearby joint.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
